I’m an artist who tells stories. I use my life as material to share, comment, and connect. My passion is creating something from nothing, especially when nothing is the ephemera of everyday life.

I stage live performances, both public and private, ranging from simple words spoken at a microphone to expansive, multi-media events with audience participation.

I also make works that can be touched and displayed.

Common themes in my work are celebrity + anonymity, femininity, identity + family, and value + consumerism. As the mixed race child of immigrants from 2 different continents, I am also concerned with otherness, marginalization, and the dynamics of power, especially viewed through the lenses of gender and socio-economics.
